​I'm a lecturer of Ikebana in Utsunomiya. My class located about 5 minutes on foot from the east exit of JR Utsunomiya Station. As a memory of your trip, I recommend a great experience of Ikebana which is a Japanese traditional culture.

What's Ikebana...? In Japan, a god is believed to dwell in each plant and stone since old times. You can cut out the beautiful parts of the plants and decorate them in a vase. You can express personality through your creativity with plant materials. It is one of fun and interesting modern arts.

Ikebana is also called "KADO". I can provide workshops using Oya-stone that is a Japanese heritage and a specialty of Utsunomiya- city. If you are interested in Ikebana , please send e-mail to the address below.
